The Butterfly Project

Good afternoon fellow crafters! I would like to take some time to make a quick post about a worthy cause my fellow Sheetloads DT member, Heather, informed us about. She is also a reporter for Craft Critique and they asking for your help to donate some butterfly creations to send to the Holocaust Museum in Houston by September 15.

This is not only open to crafters, but you can get all of your friends and family members (I am sure the kids would love to create their own butterflies) involved to help the museum collect 1.5 million butterflies for display. Each butterfly represents a memorial to all of the innocent children who lost their lives during the Holocaust.

Check out this link at Craft Critique for more deets on how the Butterfly project came about as well as getting details on the butterfly creation requirements and mailing address : THE BUTTERFLY PROJECT

A link to The Butterfly Project will remain on my sidebar until September 15 in case you need to come back at a later time for the details.

Thank you in advance for your help! Please help spread the word!
